Ryan
Ryan, our Chief Revenue Officer at Irmo Smiles, brings nearly 30 years of engineering and leadership experience to help our practice grow. Originally from Indiana with a BS in Civil Engineering from Purdue, he’s now engaged to Dr. Misti Raman and a proud father of two. Outside of work, Ryan loves Lake Murray, the ocean, concerts, travel, and time with family and friends.
Heather
Heather is our Chief Operating Officer at Irmo Smiles, bringing over 14 years of dental and orthodontic experience. She’s dedicated to exceptional patient care and supporting our team to ensure every visit is seamless and memorable. Outside the office, Heather enjoys boating, family time, and community volunteering.
Lorraine
Lorraine is our friendly Patient Concierge at Irmo Smiles, welcoming new patients and guiding them through our office. With eight years on the team, she ensures every visit is positive. Outside work, she enjoys time with her daughter and son-in-law and starts each day with a workout.
Robin
Robin is our Lead Dental Assistant at Irmo Smiles, known for going above and beyond for both patients and staff. She brings comfort, care, and laughter to every visit. Outside the office, Robin enjoys crafting custom jewelry and traveling with her husband to visit their two sons and four granddaughters.
Karen
Karen, one of our amazing registered dental hygienists brings 35 years of experience in oral care, holding an Associate's degree in Allied Health from Midlands Technical College. Outside of her professional life, Karen has a passion for Cocker Spaniels and enjoys decorating and creating art with epoxy. On weekends, she and her husband, along with their son Michael, love spending time on the water and soaking up the sun.
Nicole
Nicole is our Insurance and Treatment Coordinator at Irmo Smiles, bringing eight years of dental experience and a background in clinical and practice management. Outside work, she enjoys saltwater fishing and crabbing with her dog, Boudreaux, and volunteers with the Harriet Hancock Center and Sister Care.
Monica
Monica is our wonderful scheduling coordinator. Monica will likely be the first person you speak with when you call to schedule your appointments, and she will also provide helpful reminders for upcoming visits. Monica brings 12 years of experience in the medical field to our team. Outside of work, she is a proud new grandmother to a beautiful baby boy!
Dr. Davis
Dr. Michael Davis, our Periodontist, has been with Irmo Smiles for four years, bringing extensive expertise in periodontal care. A MUSC graduate and former private practice owner, he has inspired several family members to pursue dentistry. Outside work, he enjoys watching his grandchildren’s sports and life with his wife, Laurie, in the sunny South.
Beth
Beth is an Expanded Dental Assistant with over 40 years of experience, proudly part of the Irmo Smiles team. A mom and grandmother, she also shares her life with her Scottish Fold, Skylar. Beth loves yoga, photography, and the Columbia art scene, with her work featured in local galleries and the SC State Fair.
Tammie
Tammie, our Orthodontic Assistant and the "Queen of the Orthodontic Lab." She brings many years of experience to our Irmo Smiles Team. Once you begin your orthodontic treatment, she will work with you during your appointments to ensure your comfort and assist in monitoring your progress. In her free time, Tammie enjoys boating with her family and friends.
Dena
Dena is our Lead Dental Hygienist, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Midlands Technical College in 2015. She specializes in periodontal care and low laser therapy, prioritizing patient comfort and oral health. Outside work, Dena enjoys refinishing furniture, party planning, and being a supermom to three children.
Claudia
Claudia is the Financial Coordinator at Irmo Smiles, managing billing, payments, and helping patients understand their treatment plans. A proud math enthusiast, she holds an Associate Degree in Public Service and is DANB certified. Outside work, Claudia enjoys family time, cheering on her youngest son at baseball, lake days, church volunteering, and crafting custom invitations.
