Meet Dr. Jim Raman

Orthodontist

Jim Raman, DMD, received his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina’s College of Dental Medicine. He completed an orthodontic residency in Fort Lauderdale and has since undergone significant additional training in Invisalign®, TMJ dysfunction, and sleep apnea treatment.

Dr. Jim believes in efficiency through technology and uses Insignia™ Advanced Smile Design to help his patients achieve their treatment results in less time with fewer office visits.

Dr. Jim and Dr. Misti have two beautiful children, Lexi and Jimmy, and enjoy traveling and spending time on Lake Murray. They appeared on CBS’s “The Amazing Race” in the fall of 2014.
